Tradar will always be free for customers who are looking to find local tradespeople.

Tradar is also free for Tradespeople to promote their services locally. Currently a Tradesperson can select one service they offer (electrician, plumber etc...). In the future we will be offering a professional plan that allows Tradespeople much more functionality.

As a trade person you can allow customers to see your location in real time.

This is useful for many trades that want local clients to see that they are available. 

For example, if you offer emergency call-outs as part of your business then by using 'real-time tracking' you are more likely to get local clients near to your current location, rather than the customers only seeing your default location.

Please note that customers will never be able to see your 'exact' location, as we set the map to only zoom in to a set level.

You are free to arrange payment directly with the tradesperson/customer however you choose. We take no commission or finders fees so you can rest assured you are always paying the most competitive rates directly with the trade.

Our aim is to build a platform that adds value to the lives of tradespeople and to customers who are looking for tradespeople. Eventually we will be adding a professional plan to Tradar so that tradespeople have access to additional functionality to help promote their business if they choose to.

Rest assured that all the time we own Tradar, there will always be a free plan available.

As a tradesperson who is promoting your business through Tradar, you can set your visibility to:

• Available (real time tracking)
• Available (office location)
• Unavailable

You can change these at any point. If you want customers to know exactly where you are then select 'Available (real-time tracking)', your profile will then appear on the map for customers to see and you will have a green edge to your map marker letting customers know this is your actual location.

If you ever want to be removed from the map or only want to use your registered location then you can simply change your visibility setting.

It's a completely open market. No trades are directly employed by Tradar, we are simply trying to put local customers in touch with local trades in the most fair and efficient way possible.

Tradespeople set their own prices, you negotiate using the messaging service and agree the prices as you would normally.

At the moment we are focussing Tradar on the UK, USA and Canada. 

As we grow, then so will our reach.
